Must have 5 years experience with veterinary software programs as a customer service representative.
Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients medical records, preparation and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, fulfilling over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, preparation of end of period reports, preparing daily reconciliation reports, filing, following established protocols, front office and reception area maintenance. Receptionists must possess good critical thinking and problem solving skills, compassion, a positive attitude, follow-through and excellent communication and teamwork skills. Multitasking and following hospital protocols is essential.
